Habitat Enhancement and Restoration at Clay Peak

Protecting Species Diversity and Our Natural Heritage.

A Philosophy of “Close as You Go”

  • As each section of a landfill cell is retired, six feet of top soil and natural compost are applied. This is done on a continuing basis, rather than waiting until final cell closure.
  • Builds soil structure, retains moisture, fights erosion.
