The 2023 property tax bills will be mailed out by the end of November, 2023. First payment is due before 11:59 p.m. Monday, December 20, 2023. A 2% penalty will be assessed on any delinquent balances paid after December 20th.
The second installment for the 2023 property tax is due on or before June 20, 2024. If payment is not received by 11:59 p.m. on this date, a penalty of 2% will be assessed on the delinquency. Interest will be calculated and assessed at the rate of 1% per month dating back to January 1, 2024.
An electronic bill will be sent to all the mortgage companies should they hold an impound or escrow account for your property taxes and/or insurance. The mortgage company will see the bill is paid on or before the due date.
IMPORTANT : DO NOT PAY YOUR 2023 PROPERTY TAX BILL IF YOU HAVE A MORTGAGE IMPOUND ACCOUNT THAT PAYS YOUR TAXES as this may cause problems with your monthly mortgage payment.
Reminder notices will NOT be sent out for the June payment. A delinquent notice will be sent after July 1, 2024 if you have forgotten to pay the 2023 taxes.
We now offer the opportunity to pay your taxes with a credit/debit card here in the office and online. There will be a convenience fee to do so that is charged by the third party vendor.
Our occupancy bills will be mailed in February. The first installment will be due March 20, 2024 and the second installment will be due June 20, 2024.
